“We concluded a contract for the construction of an office building in Unit City Technopark, which is located in the Shevchenkivskyi District in Kiev,” said Priit Luman, member of the management board of Nordecon AS. “Nordecon will build a 7-story office building in the new technopark at Simii Khokhlovykh 8, and the building will meet the requirements of the LEED gold certificate. This means that the building will meet strict requirements regarding environmental sustainability, energy use, and indoor climate. The building will have a total surface area of 6,185 m2. Earlier, Nordecon has built an office building which meets the LEED gold certification requirements in Ülemiste City in Tallinn, and is building another 13-story building meeting the same requirements in the same complex.”
“Unit City’s ambition is to create something similar to the campuses of Google, Apple, and Silicon Valley – the first innovation campus in Kiev will be built on 25 hectares and it will bring together innovative enterprises, start-up companies, public authorities, etc. I am happy that the developer has chosen Nordecon’s subsidiary in Ukraine as their partner in this major project,” said Priit Luman.
