All the activities that resulted in the merger of the subsidiaries of the Nordecon Group, Nordecon Infra AS and Nordecon Ehitus AS, with the parent company Nordecon International AS have been completed and the company continues its operations in the new year under the name Nordecon AS.
“We start the new year as a company that differs from the one we had last year,” said Chairman of the Management Board of Nordecon AS Jaano Vink. “The changes made in the company in recent months are a result of the continuing poor condition of the construction market and the need to increase the efficiency of our activities for the sake of our company’s future. We will continue operating actively in almost all areas of construction. This so-say slimming diet, which was largely forced upon us by external factors, allows us to react more flexibly to market trends and we will be able to save more than a million euros per year on fixed costs alone.”
Jaano Vink added that Nordecon Ehitus AS and Nordecon Infra AS terminated their activities as a result of the merger and Nordecon AS is now their legal successor. The assets and liabilities of Nordecon Ehitus AS and Nordecon Infra AS will pass on to Nordecon AS as stipulated in the Commercial Code. The contracts entered into with Nordecon Ehitus AS and Nordecon Infra AS will remain in force with the legal successor of the companies, Nordecon AS. The authorities, rights and obligations of the responsible persons entered in the contracts will not change, unless notice is given of this.
The members of the management board of Nordecon AS are Jaano Vink (Chairman), Avo Ambur, Marko Raudsik and Erkki Suurorg, who have all worked in the Nordecon Group for many years.
“The new website of Nordecon, which you can find at www.nordecon.ee, was also opened today,” said Jaano Vink. "The new website gives a good overview of the company and is a useful source of information for customers, investors and everyone else interested in Nordecon. The website introduces the services offered by Nordecon, our 20 years of experience and our strengths with quality photographs that illustrate our two main areas of activity – construction of buildings and civil engineering works in Estonia as well as Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus and Ukraine."
Jaank Vink added that the new website of Nordecon is technically highly flexible, which makes it possible to show attractive visuals in unchanged form in all browsers, even the ones that don’t support flash technology. This means that smart phone users can also obtain all the information easily and in unchanged form.
