The flagship store of the Swedish fast-fashion brand H&M will open in Kristiine Shopping Centre in Tallinn this weekend. Nordecon completed construction of the store in September. Nordecon also built the extension to the Rocca al Mare Shopping Centre, which houses the first H&M store opened in Estonia.
Nordecon built 2,270 square metres of new sales space in Kristiine Shopping Centre and the H&M store will operate on ca. 2,000 square metres of this new space. A new entrance to the shopping centre was also built on the side facing Endla Street. The construction work lasted from January to September 2013.
This August Nordecon completed the H&M store in Rocca al Mare Shopping Centre, which covers 2,500 square metres. A new extension of 4,200 m2 was built and ca. 1,200 m2 of existing premises was rebuilt within the scope of the project. This was the first H&M store in Estonia.
Both projects were developed by subsidiaries of the Citicon Group, while the architect and design team on the project was from Nord Projekt AS.
