Nordecon Betoon OÜ, a company belonging to Nordecon construction group, and a real estate development company Saku Korterid OÜ concluded an agreement for building a new 34-apartment house in Saku small town at Uusmäe Street 2.
“The number of residents in the local governments in the immediate vicinity of Tallinn is constantly growing, and as everybody cannot afford living in a private house or they even do not want to, people look around to find an appropriate apartment. Unfortunately, there is always a lack of proper apartment buildings,” said Mait Rõõmusaar, member of the Management Board of Nordecon Betoon OÜ. “As a constructor, we are glad that firstly, developers have started to fill this gap, and secondly, the creation of recognized architects is used – development of the new apartment buildings’ area in Saku small town is a good example of such trend.”
“As the sale of the first apartment building in Uusmäe housing estate at Uusmäe Street 4, the construction of which was finished last summer, has had excellent results and demand for both new apartments and rental apartments in a new building is high, we are going to construct another apartment building next to this one,” said Reimo Metsküll, member of the Management Board of Saku Korterid OÜ. He added that depending on the sales success of the building to be constructed at Uusmäe Street 2, the construction of subsequent apartment buildings will be planned in the new housing estate.
The total gross area in the 4-floor apartment building at Uusmäe Street 2 will be 2,944 m2 and there will be 34 two- to four-room apartments in the house. The construction work will start in October this year and will finish in July 2016. The architects of the Uusmäe residential quarter are Ott Kadarik and Mihkel Tüür (OÜ Kadarik Tüür Arhitektid).
