‘Within the framework of the contract with the Centre for Defence Investment, we are building a storage hall in both Tapa and Jõhvi, and a maintenance training garage and a targeting facility in Tapa. Nordecon has built in both military campuses in the past and has years of experience designing and building military facilities. These are objects that bring new experience and opportunities to the whole team,’ said Ando Voogma, Member of the Management Board of Nordecon AS.
‘The development of Jõhvi and Tapa infrastructure is important from the point of view of national defence in order to ensure the smooth relocation of the Defence Forces and the deployment of artillery,’ said Kusti Salm, Director of the Centre for Defence Investment.
Within the framework of the procurement to be established in the Tapa campus of the Defence Forces, Nordecon will design and build a maintenance training garage, a storage hall, a targeting facility, and a position plan (from utility networks to the connection points).
Within the framework of the procurement to be established in the Jõhvi campus of the Defence Forces, Nordecon will carry out the design and construction of the storage hall and the position plan (from utility networks to the connection points).
Nordecon has previously built a catering complex (2017), four barracks (2016–2018), a maintenance and training hall, a repair hall, and shelters (2017–2018) in the Tapa Defence Campus. Currently, the assembly area is under construction and is scheduled to be delivered in January 2020. Nordecon is also building a barracks in Jõhvi.
