Eventus Ehitus OÜ and Nordecon Betoon OÜ entered into a contract with Nordassets OÜ for construction of phase II of the logistics centre for AS Smarten Logistics in Rae Parish. The construction works will cost approximately 3.8 million Euros plus value added tax.
Lauri Kaska, Chief Executive of Eventus Ehitus OÜ, leading partner of the construction works, said that the company has built several warehouses and industrial buildings in the last few years. “Retaining our customers is a priority for our company, which is why we are happy to continue the work we started and are again presented with a great opportunity to make maximum use of what we have learnt so far,” added Lauri Kaska.
“The cooperation with Nordassets OÜ, which commenced in 2014, is getting a logical continuation – together with Eventus Ehitus OÜ, we will be building phase II of the warehouse complex of the Smarten logistics centre finished last year,” said Mait Rõõmusaar, head of Nordecon Betoon OÜ. “The construction works will commence in April and, based on the current plans, we will deliver the finished building to the contracting authority in the February 2017. We will be constructing the total of 13,000 square metres of net surface are in phase II,” Mait Rõõmusaar added.
The Smarten logistics centre to be built in Rae Parish, in the close vicinity of the Tallinna-Tartu highway, will have a complex of the total surface area of 45,000 square metres. Construction works of the first, 17,000 square metre complex were completed in January 2015.
